Data shared via the site are handled with the utmost care and with all necessary means to ensure their security, in full compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
We wish to inform you that European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "Regulation" or "GDPR") guarantees the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data as a fundamental right. In accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR, we therefore wish to inform you of the following.
1. What is “Review4You” and how does it work?
“Review4You” provides users with a software platform called “Review4You”, accessible via its website of the same name. This platform enables customers, through a set of features and interactions with external providers, to:
(a) centrally manage the reviews of their end customers and also select a carousel of the best reviews to display on their landing pages;
(b) actively communicate with end customers to offer them the opportunity to rate the location and/or the purchased product/service;
(c) track the progress of reviews and scores (or "Ratings"), which are also aggregated for the various service providers;
“Review4You” acts, in accordance with GDPR regulations, as follows:
– Data Controller, with regard to the data of users who own various types of businesses and/or other business activities (hereinafter "Merchants") and browsing data, in particular the data referred to in points a) and b) of Article 2 of this policy.
– Data Processor of the data of end customers (i.e., those who rate the seller's business) provided by sellers in the context of requesting, creating, and organizing reviews. The processing that "Review4You" carries out with respect to these categories of data is governed by the "Data Processing Addendum" in accordance with Article 28 of the Regulation. This addendum, together with this notice and the terms and conditions, forms an integral part of the contractual relationship between "Review4You" and the seller.
“Review4You” does not use the data provided by sellers for its own purposes, such as marketing, market research, communication with third parties, or dissemination. Sellers duly ensure that end customers are adequately informed that their data will also be processed by external data processors and in particular by “Review4You”.
2. Glossary
"Addendum" is the document that governs the relationship between the seller and "Review4You" with regard to privacy. "Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, in particular an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more characteristic elements of their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.
“Review4You” is a trading name of “Jevy Group” – “Tomatenmarkt 44A, 1681PH Zwaagdijk-Oost, Netherlands” – email: “[email protected]”
"Processor" means a natural or legal person, public authority, or any other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
"Controller" means the natural or legal person, public authority, service, or other body which, individually or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data and the tools used, including security measures.
“User(s)” and/or “Customer(s)” “Data subject(s)” means the person who visits the website “www.reviewhound.co.uk” and uses the service, i.e., the person to whom the personal data relates and who, unless otherwise stated, coincides with the data subject.
3. Categories of data
The controller collects personal data and other information directly from its users as part of the online registration processes on the website “www.reviewhound.co.uk”, in order to provide the services requested by users (this typically includes data such as email address, first name, last name, and telephone number of a contact person).
The subject of the processing may consist of users' personal data, such as:
A. Data provided upon registration and data required for payment.
“Review4You” processes personal data necessary for proper registration on the site, to enable access to the platform and use of the associated services. This data is provided directly by the data subject and may include personal data and contact details, such as first name, last name, date of birth, email address, and telephone number. “Review4You” also processes data required for payment of paid services by the registered user, including invoice data. If the user gives consent, or through the use of cookies, “Review4You” may store authentication or payment and invoicing data. This data can be deleted at any time by the user and is used exclusively for the performance of the contract.
B. Automatically collected data.
The computer systems and applications dedicated to the operation of the "Review4You" website detect, during their normal operation, certain data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols) that may be associated with identifiable users. The collected data includes the IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the operating system, browser, and computer environment used by the user, the name of the internet service provider (ISP), the date and time of the visit, the web page from which the visitor came (referrer), and the page from which the visitor left the site.
C. Data voluntarily provided by the user.
Voluntarily and explicitly sending emails to the addresses listed in the various access channels of this site does not require consent and involves the acquisition of the sender's email address and data necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. This data is considered to have been voluntarily provided by the user at the time of requesting the service. By entering a comment or other information, the user expressly accepts this document and in particular agrees that the entered content may also be freely disseminated to third parties. In contrast, specific summary information will be reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for specific services on request (forms). The user must therefore explicitly consent to the use of the data in these forms in order to submit the request.
D. Data processed as a processor.
“Review4You” processes the data provided by sellers as a data processor and in accordance with the provisions of the addendum. In particular, “Review4You” guarantees that it follows the seller's instructions and does not use this data for its own purposes, such as marketing, market research, communication with third parties, or dissemination.
E. Cookies.
This website uses cookies. Data collected via cookies may be used to access certain parts of the website, for statistical purposes, or to make the browsing experience more pleasant and efficient in the future, by analyzing user behavior and tailoring the content offering accordingly.
F. Plug-ins.
The site also includes social media plug-ins and/or buttons, allowing you to easily share content on your favorite social networks. These plug-ins are programmed not to place cookies when you visit the page, in order to protect your privacy. Cookies are only placed, if offered by the social networks, when the user actively and voluntarily uses the plug-in. Please note that if you visit the site while logged into a social network, you have already given consent at the time of registration with that network for the use of cookies sent via this site. The collection and use of information obtained through the plug-in is subject to the privacy policy of the respective social networks. Please refer to the privacy statements of the social networks.
4. Source of personal data
Personal data held by the owner is collected directly from the data subject. End customer data is uploaded by sellers as part of the use of services.
5. Data processing and legal basis
The processing of user data has the following purposes and legal basis:
- 1. Registration and access to services – Purpose: authentication and use of the site. Legal basis: contractual performance.
- 2. Payment processing. – Purpose: access to certain parts of the service. Legal basis: contractual performance.
- 3. Storage of user payment data. – Purpose: to speed up the purchase process. No data is stored without consent. Legal basis: user consent.
- 4. Communication with business partners and/or third parties – Purpose: communication for marketing, promotional, and/or commercial purposes. Legal basis: user consent.
- 5. Newsletter – Purpose: sending emails about news and topics of interest. Legal basis: user consent.
- 6. Sending direct marketing communications – Purpose: updates on the owner's products and services. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the owner.
- 7. Maintenance and improvement of the service. – Purpose: use of aggregated and anonymized data to improve the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the owner.

Consent for the purposes mentioned in points 3, 4, and 5 is optional and has no negative impact on the user experience.
6. Data recipients
To the extent relevant for the stated processing purposes, user data may be shared with partners, consultancy firms, private companies, external technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, and communication agencies.
If suppliers process personal data on behalf of the controller, they are designated as data processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR.
7. Transfer of data to a third country
The "Review4You" website may share part of the collected data with services outside the European Union. This occurs in particular through social plug-ins and Google Analytics. This transfer is authorized and strictly regulated by Article 45(1) of EU Regulation 2016/679, which does not require specific consent for this purpose.
8. Retention period
In accordance with the principle of storage limitation (Article 5, GDPR), it is periodically checked whether the stored data is still relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.
In particular:
(a) automatically collected data is processed, for as long as strictly necessary, solely for the purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of the site and monitoring its normal operation, also for security purposes or in accordance with the time limits set by legal regulations;
(b) data voluntarily provided by the user is kept for a period no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed, or for the time limits set by legal regulations.
9. Rights of the data subject
The data subject always has the right to request from the controller access to their data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to object to processing, to request data portability, and to withdraw consent for processing by exercising these and other rights under the GDPR through a simple communication to the controller. The data subject may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Methods of data processing.
The personal data provided by users is processed in accordance with the aforementioned regulations and the confidentiality obligations that characterize the controller's activities. The data is processed both digitally and on paper and on other suitable media, with due regard to adequate security measures as referred to in Article 5(1)(f) of the GDPR.
11. Final remarks and how to update
The information provided applies solely to the website "Review4You" and not to other websites that the user may consult via links on this site. The policy may change as a result of new legislation.
